Sitting here thinking about how far I have come in life. God has truly brought me a long way. I thank God for the resilient, loving, and effervescent spirit he put in me.. ( My Journey)
I use to be afraid to get to know myself because i’d think I would let myself and others down. With that being said, I simply resorted to not being myself (FEAR & Being FAKE) Go figure.
This Picture was taken a day before my car accident in April 2005
Of course, with not being yourself, there’s always a very dark place in life where unnecessary turmoil is encountered. (Trouble)
Only because I gave up my voice to take on another’s opinion and actions as being right, just to keep them around. That was (Stupidity, Fear of Rejection & People Pleasing at it’s finest.)
After years of going through unnecessary turmoil I had a serious wake up call, (Car Accident) that God used to change my life around and had me look at what mattered most. ( God, My Life, & The small things .)
Getting to know me all over again has been one of the best experiences of my life. It might sound crazy but it is what it is. God got me and he always has had me. Understanding that my life is not in vain and that I have a Positive Purpose in life is a grand knowing. (Just Like your understanding)
I was blessed with a second chance at life. Seemed like I had to learn almost everything all over. Even how to love me … That’s a life long process though ;) . ( Respect)
As I began my new journey of loving myself great things came along with that. (Trust in God, My decisions and the Man he sent to be my Husband) . ( John A. Stephens- My Soul Mate)
I am Thankful and grateful for all the people that impacted my life in any way, good or bad, just know I learned a great deal from it. All I can say is Thank you! I would not change one thing about my past, but to simply keep looking & walking forward in the light that is set before me from my heavenly Father!
What gives us new inspiration to grow to the next level? I’ll tell you what. “Courage” does. When in doubt if your moving forward in life, just make a move that will scare the crap out of you, all with no harm intended to yourself or anyone; but to get past the fear of staying stagnate in the same zone before being allowed to move forward naturally. It’s a process and we all have to go through it.
I can’t speak about anything I never experienced. Going through it to get to it.
If you’ve ever wanted to purchase those major label names for an affordable price, like many of us that want for the finer things is a knack for endless serendipity for hope of lavish pieces. But imagine no more, here are some lavish looks for Fall that will keep your coins jiggling in the bottom of your purse .
It has been a while since I last checked in with a new project. Well wait no longer. Lamil Designs is the official wardrobe stylist for #JasPhotoNaturals Campaign. I am excited about this project, it embodies all the things natural; not just hair! I enjoy being original and do believe that is apart of being natural. (God’s Gift) we don’t have to try hard; just be us and we allow others to be them when we’re comfortable within our own self. To me Natural is interesting.
It’s something people recognize, but can’t put their finger on exactly what it is their interested in, they just know it’s something beautiful and Unique about that thing.
JAS Photo Naturals is a creative project that highlights natural hair & beauty from a photographers eye. JAS Photo’s vision is to not only delight your eyes with beautiful imagery, but also create a voice through his images that speak to the messages behind being natural.

Here is my debut of wardrobe styling of ‘The Ring Master” and his “Muse” for the epic story “Death of a Clown”
This Shoot was an absolute adrenaline rush just like the rest. However each time a new character comes on board for me to style, I get heightened in my excitement to create “Clown Couture”. The style that was created for the ring master and his “Muse was inspired by the: Baroque, Victorian, and Edwardian periods. The focus I wanted to create in the wardrobe was one who displayed a debonair, smooth, well put together man. I chose the color Blue because I wanted him to evoke the style of a Great entertainer who likes to be the center of attention. As you can see with his pin and prop, he stands by the Laugh now, Cry later symbol. As for his “Muse” I was able to pull in the ruffles, polka dotted scarf, and black velvet jacket that created “A soft, bubbly, and dark” Feel.
I hope you all enjoy, and if you get a chance, please share with your friends and family.
All clothes were provided by “Vintage by Judith Costumes” in Marietta, Ga.
